Gregory S. Schultz, Ph.D.
Professor, Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Florida
Since 1989, Dr. Schultz has been Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida where he established the Multidisciplinary Institute for Wound Research. Dr. Schultz has published more than 210 research papers, chapters and review articles. He served as President of the Wound Healing Society from 1999-2001, is the Chair of the Wound Bed Preparation Advisory PanelBoard, is a member of the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Board, and serves on the editorial board of multiple journals in the areas of ocular and skin wound healing. In 2006 he was recognized by TIME Magazine as an Innovation Leader in the area of microbicidal coatings. Dr. Schultz earned a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from Oklahoma State University and was a post-doctoral fellow in Cell Biology at Yale Univeristy.
Thomas A. Mustoe, MD, FACS
Professor, Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery, Northwestern University
Thomas A. Mustoe, MD, FACS is a board certified plastic surgeon, by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is also board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Mustoe received both his college and medical degrees from Harvard University with honors. He completed his otolaryngology and plastic surgery residencies at Harvard. He has coauthored more than 200 articles and book chapters, and lectured nationally and internationally on subjects of facial cosmetic and breast surgery. He currently serves on multiple editorial boards for plastic surgery and surgical journals, and is a scientific advisor to the FDA and previously to the National Cancer Institute. He has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Wound Healing Society. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
